Joe Chen (Chun-Hsiang Chen) is a Berlin-based music producer, songwriter, composer, and sound designer whose works have been released across Europe, the UK, South Korea, Japan, the USA, and Greater China.

 

His recent credits as a producer and songwriter in Asia include releases for top K-pop artists such as Whee In (정휘인) of Mamamoo and Hwang Min Hyun (황민현), as well as the boy groups NOWADAYS and WEi, and the girl groups VIVIZ and UNIS.

 

Joe also composes production music for TV, radio, commercials, and various media platforms. With a strong command of a wide range of musical styles, from cinematic scoring and ambient textures to pop, hip-hop, rock, and experimental, he brings both versatility and depth to every project he undertakes. His advertising music has satisfied international clients including BMW, L’Oréal, Sony, and Adidas.

 

Previously, as a music producer and A&R at Rock Records Taiwan, Joe Chen played a key role in shaping the plan for Shi Shi’s album SHI’s Journey and contributed as part of the album’s production, which won Best Mandarin Album at the 30th Golden Melody Awards (2019).
